Since being elected in 2022, it has been my focus to bring back common sense mountain values to Jackson County, instead of just greasing the squeaky wheel. For far too long backdoor deals were slowly taking away the heritage and values that built Jackson County and Western NC, it was time for change. I believe we have brought about the change that many in our communities were and are seeking, we didn’t always make everyone happy, but that is an impossible feat.
